We are looking for an AML Analyst to join our growing team.

The role of AML Analyst is a great opportunity, where you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and investigating suspicious financial activity to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in protecting the organisation from financial crime and regulatory risk.

You love diving into deep investigations, meticulously turning over every stone to make sure that we have a clear picture of the case at hand. You can handle and navigate sensitive conversations with ease and privacy. With strong organisational skills and a logic approach, you are comfortable to piece together evidence provided by the players.

What will you be doing?

• Review and approve enhance due diligence requested.

• Monitoring player activity to determine whether all is in line with the internal AML

• Review and analyse transaction alerts generated by AML monitoring systems

• Creating internal reports of unusual or suspicious transactions and/or activities to be escalated to the MLRO.

• Monitor customer transactions to identify unusual patterns or behaviors

• Performing PEP, Sanction checks and analysing the results to eliminate or confirm matches

• Ensuring that action taken on customer accounts as in adherence with both internal policies and procedures as well as those set out by the regulator and legislation.

• Participation in ad hoc and project work as required e.g. remediation projects, process changes.

• Assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports and any other feedback to authorities

• Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation for audit and regulatory review.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as Payments and Risk, Responsible gaming and Customer Services.

Who are you?

• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience in an AML or compliance setting is essential, with a good understanding of the iGaming industry.

• In depth knowledge and understanding of AML best practices and a good understanding of Responsible Gaming regulation.

• Ability to work on own initiative keeping in line with timeframes.

• Flexible, easy going and a good listener who can take in ideas and make improvements.

• Fluent in Dutch or Spanish is highly desirable
