We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Auditor to join our Technical Compliance team in Malta.

As a Senior Regulatory Compliance Auditor within our team, you will be responsible for assisting with regulatory audits and gap analysis sessions, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of relevant internal controls, and providing management with detailed reports in regards to findings. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while supporting the continuous improvement of compliance processes across the organisation.

What will you be doing?

• Hold the Internal Audit Key Function for the Group’s MGA licences

• Coordinate, process, and monitor certification/audit licence obligations for established and new regulated i-gaming markets

• Conduct routine and surprise internal audits of gaming operations to ensure adherence to online gaming laws and regulations and present findings to the audit and risk committee, ensuring transparency without direct involvement in implementing corrective actions

• Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors

• Work closely and collaboratively with other key stakeholders internally and externally in the regulatory landscape

• Stay up to date with regulatory development and best practice in compliance control within and outside of the company

• Identify, document, and increase efficiencies of business processes to align with compliance requirements and comply with regulations in relevant jurisdictions

• Maintain knowledge and assist in keeping an up-to-date and accurate library/database of regulatory standards and licenses

• Support regulatory audits and gap analysis sessions and provide management with detailed reports on findings

• Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required

Who are you?

• Specific work experience in one or both of the following: Internal/External Auditor and/or Compliance role

• Experience with auditing standards and/or gaming regulations

• Analytical skills with a highly developed sense of curiosity

• Strong interpersonal skills, efficient networker, and collaborative team player

• Excellent report writing skills

• Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as Jira and Confluence

• High-level interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills

• High sense of ownership and desire to improve their skills

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English

Nice to have:

A certification in internal audit (CIA) and/or systems audit (CISA) is an advantage but not a requirement
